On the sixth day of his bicycle tour through Saxony-Anhalt Sven Schulze, Minister for Economy, Tourism, Agriculture and Forestry stopped first at the new headquarters of MECOTEC GmbH in Bitterfeld-Wolfen and inaugurated the new showroom with a cold chamber visit.
After an exchange with MECOTEC COO Dr. Friedrich Rheinheimer and CFO Alexander Butt, Production Manager Markus Steinbach guided Economics Minister Sven Schulze through the production hall and provided information on the manufacture of the whole body cryotherapy chambers made in Germany. Sven Schulze was accompanied by Zörbig's mayor Matthias Egert, Lars-Jörn Zimmer (member of the Saxony-Anhalt state parliament), Andi Grabner (district administrator in the Anhalt-Bitterfeld district), Daniel Krake (SME representative/special tasks in the Anhalt-Bitterfeld district) and Sabine Kraus and Marc Pappert from Investment and Marketing Corporation Saxony-Anhalt. "We were very pleased about the visit, the exchange and the impulses and look with confidence into the future of our location in Bitterfeld-Wolfen", COO Dr. Friedrich Rheinheimer, summarized the minister's visit.
Finally, Sven Schulze opened the newly created showroom at the headquarter of the world market leader, where a cryo:one, cryo:one plus and a cold air therapy devicecryoair C600 with the worldwide unique temperature of -60 °C can be tested. And Minister of Economic Affairs Sven Schulze did not miss the opportunity to test the cryo:one plus himself: "Minister Sven Schulze accepted the challenge to experience our cryo:one plus at -85°C for 3 minutes. He will now be able to take the second part of his 500 km bike tour revitalized", COO Dr. Friedrich Rheinheimer was convinced.
